Suzanne Haterius-Fusaro
Music Director

Suzanne Haterius – Fusaro is a cradle Lutheran from God’s Country (aka West Texas) … more specifically, the Ericksdahl community near Stamford, Texas.  Her grandfather served as pastor of Bethel Lutheran in Ericksdahl for 49 years and her grandmother was organist for 51 years!  When asked how someone could be an organist for as long as her grandmother, Suzanne replied, “I’ve been a church musician since I was 13 ….at what point do you tell God you are through using the gifts He gave you?  You don’t, you just keep serving!”

At 13 Suzanne begin playing for the evening service at her home congregation.  Since then, she has played for many churches …. Lutheran, Methodist and Baptist.  She feels that music should be an energizing and exciting part of worship.

One of her favorite sayings is "All God’s critters got a place in the choir" which means that everyone with the desire to sing has a place to come and praise God through music.
